Hi! I'm Yaisa Kairaba, a Fashion Designer, Pattern Maker, and Sewing Instructor from Buenaventura, Colombia, currently living in Bogotá.

Fashion and sewing have been part of my life since I was a little girl. It all started by making clothes for my Barbie. Since my mom couldn't afford to buy clothes for my doll, I decided to make them myself. Using fabric scraps, creativity, and imagination, I began designing and sewing tiny garments for her.

I had only one Barbie throughout my childhood, and I still have her today. Every time I look at her, I'm reminded of how my love for fashion began and how those small designs became the first steps toward the career I have today.

My passion for creating unique garments led me to study Fashion Design and dedicate myself to teaching.

Throughout my career, I have taught pattern making, sewing, garment construction, and fashion design, helping many people develop their creative skills.

The Beginning

This project was born from the desire to share knowledge and show that anyone can learn to create their own clothing with the right guidance.

As a fashion designer, I have seen how difficult it can be for many women to find clothes that truly fit their bodies.

This inspired me to help women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in garments made especially for them.

That's why I share sewing tutorials, patterns, and practical techniques that help turn ideas into real garments, step by step.
