Hi! I'm Yaisa Kairaba Bonetti, the founder of Bonetti Patterns. I'm a Fashion Designer, Pattern Maker, and Sewing Instructor, and I created Bonetti Patterns to help women make clothes they truly want to wear—and feel confident creating them.

My love for fashion started long before I ever imagined creating a brand. As a little girl, I began making clothes for my Barbie using fabric scraps, creativity, and whatever I could find around me. I didn't know it at the time, but those tiny garments were my first lessons in design.

I had only one Barbie throughout my childhood, and I still have her today. She reminds me of where everything started: with curiosity, creativity, and the simple idea that I could make something with my own hands.

That same curiosity eventually led me to study Fashion Design and build a career around pattern making, sewing, garment construction, and teaching.

Over the years, I've helped students learn how to turn an idea into an actual garment—from understanding their measurements and creating a pattern to cutting, sewing, and finally wearing something they made themselves.

Why Bonetti Patterns?

I created Bonetti Patterns because I believe women should have the freedom to create clothes that reflect who they are and how they want to dress.

I also know that sewing can feel intimidating when you're just starting. There are measurements, patterns, fabrics, machines, techniques… it can seem like a lot.

My goal is to make the process feel simpler, more creative, and genuinely enjoyable.

Bonetti Patterns is for women who want to create clothes that fit their bodies, express their personal style, and feel truly their own.

More Than Just Sewing

I don't believe sewing is only about making clothes. It's about learning a skill, exploring your creativity, and realizing that you can create something beautiful from an idea in your head.
