How Visiting the Library Sparked My Sewing Creativity Again

Every creative person experiences moments when inspiration feels out of reach. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewist, creative blocks are a normal part of the journey. The important thing is learning how to overcome them.

For me, one of the most unexpected places to rediscover my creativity was the library.

Instead of forcing new ideas, I decided to slow down, explore books, observe different styles, and give my mind the space it needed to create again.

When you're constantly working on sewing projects, designing patterns, or creating content, it's easy to feel mentally exhausted.

Taking a break doesn't mean you're giving up—it means you're giving your creativity room to grow.

• Return with fresh motivation.

Finding Inspiration Everywhere

Creativity doesn't only come from sewing.

You can find inspiration while visiting museums, walking through nature, traveling, browsing magazines, or spending time in a library.

Every experience adds something new to your creative process.

As a fashion designer, I believe that every garment begins with an idea, and every idea starts with curiosity.

My Creative Process

Whenever I feel stuck, I like to:

• Take photos of anything that inspires me.
