Step 1: Choose the Right Sewing Pattern
Everything starts with a good sewing pattern.
I always choose a pattern that matches my sewing experience and the fabric I want to use. A well-designed PDF sewing pattern includes clear instructions, accurate sizing, and construction order.
Before printing, make sure to check the test square to verify your printer scale.
Step 2: Take Accurate Body Measurements
Never guess your size.
Measure your:
- Bust
- Waist
- Hips
Compare your measurements with the sewing pattern size chart instead of relying on your usual clothing size.
